TECHNOLOGY USED HERE AT SCHWENKSVILLE DENTAL CARE

The use of the Dental Operating Microscope in Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics

Like any technology there is a learning curve and training.  Dr. Saini has attended the Zeiss training seminar hoisted by New Tech Dental Lab and has had several hands on training sessions in office with the Zeiss training team.

It is self-evident that dentists working without any magnification are more likely to leave decay than if they did use magnification. The use of the dental operating microscope also allows the dentist to identify, classify and successfully handle any cracks in the dentin and enamel as well as complete caries removal. This has tremendous bearing on the diagnosis, selection of the restoration to be used as well as the outcome of the treatment.

While this revolution will not be as encompassing as the one created in endodontics by the use of the dental operating microscope it will nonetheless change the face of restorative dentistry with tremendous benefits for clinicians and patients alike.

Trios Intra Oral Scanner

This has eliminated the needs for messy conventional impression techniques using impression material and trays.  The intraoral scanner gives us very accurate impressions and provides patient comfort and ease in lab communications.

Iris Intra Oral Camera in Each Operatory

The intraoral camera has revolutionized patient case acceptance and treatment explanations.  It is also an excellent tool for case documentation.

Use of Oral Sedation and Nitrous Oxide

At Schwenksville Dental Care, we value our patient relationships, making it our priority to deliver gentle compassionate care that you deserve. We work hard to make you feel at ease by providing exceptional patient care in a relaxed, convenient atmosphere. We facilitate patient comfort and reduce anxiety using oral sedation and the use of nitrous oxide.

GLO(Guided Light Optics) Tooth Whitening System

The GLO Science dual whitening experience provides a non-sensitive in-office teeth whitening procedure coupled with an easy-to-use, effective treatment for at-home maintenance.

Implementation of the In office Patient Loyalty/Discount program

We are all committed to providing our patients with the highest standard of dental care by offering a full range of services, all tailored to meet the individual needs of each patient.

The program was implemented to make it easier for our patients who do not have dental insurance to finally have a plan that would make dental care more affordable and accessible.

The Schwenksville Dental Care Plan is an affordable discount dental plan designed for new and existing patients to maintain good oral health, while providing dental care savings.

The plan is available to all patients without any dental insurance coverage.

Use of Guided Implant surgery and use of a Cone Beam CT in a General Dental Practice

Each and every patient who has an implant placed in the practice undergoes a Cone Beam CT scan. The data is analyzed and each case meticulously planned. Each implant is planned and placed using the 3D data.  The guided implant placement approach has worked very well in eliminating any guess work associated with implant placement. The surgical site being so precisely planned completely minimizes the post-operative discomfort experienced by my patients. This has led to many patients having to take a low dose of an analgesic if any at all after single implant placement.  This makes for a very comfortable and pleasant experience for the patient.
